Kick Sledding Adventure at AWCC

Come on down this winter for a kick sledding adventure at AWCC! A self-guided kick sled tour is a great way to experience the center and enjoy an Alaskan winter wonderland.

The weather and the roads here at AWCC are perfect for kick-sledding this winter! We have kick-sleds to fit all ages and sizes. Enjoy the great outdoors and have a blast with your family and friends as you glide around the sanctuary and check out the animals.

Wondering what are some other ways to experience AWCC in the winter? Guests can also walk or drive our 1.5 mile loop trail to view our 200 acres of habitats with over 100 animals. Other adventurous & unique ways to explore the Center while enjoying the wildlife include cruising on your cross country skis and riding your fat bike. Thank you to Salmon Berry Travel & Tours for generously donating the multiple kick sleds to the center!

We hope you can come on down and see us this winter. Be sure to check out our visit page to learn more about our winter hours.
