Under the direction of the AWCC Board of Directors, the Executive Director oversees and directs the basic operations of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC), including animal welfare and site maintenance, ensuring the organization has effective operational controls while ensuring financial strength, operating efficiency and the protection of AWCC’s assets, operations and reputation. Maintenance Technician: Full-time, Year-round, Paid with Benefits. Under the direction of the Project & Maintenance Manager, candidate is responsible for the general maintenance of mechanical items, performs regular maintenance of buildings, vehicles, snow removal, road grading, assists with tidal variations, operates equipment in a safe manner, routine carpentry, painting, fence building, minor electrical, and plumbing.
