Executive Director: Full time, year-round. Under the direction of the AWCC Board of Directors, the Executive Director oversees and directs the basic operations of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC), including animal welfare and site maintenance, ensuring the organization has effective operational controls while ensuring financial strength, operating efficiency and the protection of AWCC’s assets, operations and reputation. Retail Manager: Full time, year-round. Under the direction of the Director of Operations, this position supervises Retail and Admissions departments, and is responsible for the direction of all retail and admissions operations and staff, through leadership and management for profitability and growth. Education Program Coordinator: Full time, year-round, with benefits. Under the Direction of the Director of Education, the Education Program Coordinator will develop, coordinate, and reinforce programs offered by the Alaska wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC). Naturalist – Education Specialists: Full Time, year-round. Under the directions of the Director of education the Education Specialist will support the implementation and development of education programs at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC). Maintenance Technician: Full-time, Year-round, Paid with Benefits. Under the direction of the Project & Maintenance Manager, candidate is responsible for the general maintenance of mechanical items, performs regular maintenance of buildings, vehicles, snow removal, road grading, assists with tidal variations, operates equipment in a safe manner, routine carpentry, painting, fence building, minor electrical, and plumbing.
