The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is hiring for positions in our Admissions, Retail, and Maintenance departments. Positions range from full time, year round to part time, seasonal. A valid driver’s license is required for all positions at AWCC. Below is a summary of the positions we have available.
Retail Manager: Full Time, Year-round. Responsible for the direction of all retail and admissions operations and staff, through leadership and management for profitability and growth.
Admissions Lead: Full Time, Year-round. Under the direction of the Admissions & Retail Manager, this role is responsible for AWCC’s Membership program and generating reports on admissions data, tour buses, private tours, encounters, and field trips.
Admissions & Retail Clerk: Full Time or Part Time, Seasonal. Under the direction of the Admissions & Retail Manager, this position is responsible for daily transactions for AWCC visitors in the retail shop and admissions booth. The Admissions & Retail Clerk will be trained to work in both the admissions booth and the retail store.
Vehicle Maintenance Tech: Full Time,Year-Round. Under the direction of the Project & Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for the general maintenance of buildings, vehicles and grounds at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Clearly communicates with all AWCC staff and managers and works closely with AWCC department managers to ensure safe operations.
