Enjoy a tour where your personal guide will walk you through the AWCC and share the history and personal stories of our resident animals. You’ll have a chance to be up close and personal with a porcupine and have the chance to feed one additional animal. From May 1 to September 30 tours are offered daily at 9 am and 2 pm. In the winter, Walk on the Wild Side tours are offered at 2:00 pm each day we are open. Reserve your tour online today! Reservations must be booked in advance; book online, call 907-783-0058 or email the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Free Animal Programs

Free to all visitors, the animal programs listed to the left are a fun and in-depth way for visitors to learn about our resident animals. Though subject to change, most programs happen daily and are hosted by animal care staff outside of the animal’s designated enclosure. Upon your arrival, check on the whiteboard outside of the Be Wild Gift Shop for specific times and locations.

Want to have your own personal tour guide around Alaska and AWCC? Download The Alaska App! Not only does this application offers the chance to plan your Alaska vacation in one spot, but it also provides audio and physical guides to the AWCC. Recommendations of nearby travel locations are also available. It is the perfect chance to plan from home while being prepared on the road.
