Signed by the photographer, Doug Lindstrand, these beautiful limited edition photographic prints of the center’s animals measure 12″x 18″. Watermarked text shown on the photograph here will not be on the print you receive.
This photo of Patron is one of the photographer’s favorite photos from the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Patron, who arrived at the Center with her brother in 2005, stands on the frozen pond in the bear enclosure on a sunny day. She had been rolling in snow and her wet coat shimmers in the light; almost as if she just went thru a car wash.
Doug Lindstrand is a free-lance artist/photographer who makes his home in Alaska. Although he has published numerous books of “outside” wildlife, his primary subjects are the people and wildlife of Alaska; America’s Last Frontier. Doug graciously donates his time & resources to AWCC to document the animals.
