Meet Arnold

Meet the newest member of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center family, Arnold. Arnold is a male moose calf, he was found orphaned in Anchorage, Alaska when his mother was hit by a vehicle. He will have a permanent home at the Wildlife Center.

Arnold is two months old and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He is separated from the adult bull moose but will join them late this fall. Arnold can be seen in his new enclosure, located by the new Animal Infirmary and Info Barn.

He enjoys spending time with the animal keepers and munching on browse.
