Seasonal Retail Clerk: Full-time, Seasonal. Role is for June 1st to November 1st. This position is responsible for daily transactions for AWCC visitors in the retail shop. Retail duties include customer support, operating registers, restocking inventory, processing retail transactions, daily cleaning duties, tagging of inventory and other tasks as assigned. Seasonal Admissions Clerk: Full-time, Seasonal. Role is for May 15th – October 15th​. This position is responsible for daily transactions for AWCC visitors in the ticket booth. Admissions duties include greeting visitors, correctly inputting daily transactions of individuals, commercial tour operators, cash handling, daily cleaning tasks, operating gates, handling high volume of guests, relaying rules and regulations of facility to all guests and special event participants. Veterinary Technician: Full-time, year-round. The vet tech works directly with the Head Veterinarian and is responsible for tracking and logging all medical procedures. The Vet Tech will assist the Head Veterinarian in all diagnostic and surgical procedures, and respond to medical concerns brought forward by the animal care team to act as a liaison of information between the husbandry and medical teams. Scheduling, examinations, weekly meetings, treatment administration (including injectables via dart projector or stick pole), and IV therapies as directed by the Head Veterinarian. The vet tech will work alongside the animal care husbandry teams, and support other departments as needed. The salary for this position will be DOE, and range from $55k – $60k annually. A variety of benefits are offered to full-time staff including medical, dental, and vision insurances, PTO, 403-b retirement (3% match after 1 year of service), 10 paid holidays (including the employee’s birthday), and the medical premiums are paid $100 by AWCC for the employee.
