The Holiday Event at the AWCC is right around the corner on Saturday, December 11, 2021. This event is fun for families and all ages.

The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is hosting a fun-filled holiday event! Visitors will meet Santa and the elves, enjoy holiday-themed educational presentations, partake in fun holiday-themed photo-ops, and get their holiday shopping done at the Be Wild Gift Shop!

11AM – 3:30PM | Crafts in Bison Hall

  • Coloring Station
  • Ornament Decorating Station
  • Christmas Card Making Station
  • Free with admission.

12PM – 3PM | Santa Visits Bison Hall

  • Come to Bison Hall to meet Santa and take a picture!
  • Free with admission.

Storytime in Bison Hall

  • 11AM | Book chosen by the audience.
  • 1PM | Book chosen by the audience.
  • Free with admission.

11:30AM – 12:30PM | Educational Program

  • Reindeer Presentation
  • Join the AWCC Education Department at the Reindeer Habitat to learn all about reindeer!
  • Free with admission.

2PM | Walk on the Wild Side Tour 

  • Enjoy a tour where your personal guide walks you through the Center, offering history and stories of resident wildlife – and you’ll get to feed an animal!
  • $100 per person (includes admission)
  • For ages 10 and up only.
