As the enrichment coordinator it is my job to make sure that all of the animals in our care have scheduled enrichment. I love enrichment not only because it stimulates our animals minds and natural behaviors but it can also help build their confidence and help us keepers learn about our animals as individuals based on their interaction with the enrichment we give them! We try to give a variation of enrichment to our animals based on 5 categories of social, cognitive, physical habitat, sensory, and food.
