The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) is a sanctuary dedicated to preserving Alaska’s wildlife through conservation, education, research and quality animal care.

General Admission Tickets to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center do not sell out. Purchase General Admission Tickets upon arrival on the day of your visit.

Alaska Resident: $16 per person (with valid Alaska ID, Nov. 1 – April 30)
Military: $16 per person (with US military ID)

Fun ways to explore the Center while enjoying the wildlife include riding your bike, walking, or driving the 1.5 mile loop around the sanctuary.

Book a Walk on the Wild Side Tour and have a look at the inner – workings of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center! Available Year-Round.

Enjoy this 90-minute tour where your naturalist guide walks you through the Center, offering history and stories of resident wildlife – and you’ll get to feed an animal! This tour offers the best opportunity to get up-close and personal with Alaska’s wildlife. More info HERE.

To show our appreciation, we are offering *free* admission on the first Monday of each month from October through April to all active duty and retired military personnel and their dependents. See you then!

SAVE THE DATE for the Annual Holiday Event at the AWCC! Saturday, December 10, 2022. This event is fun for families and all ages.

The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is hosting a fun-filled holiday event! Visitors will meet Santa, Mrs. Claus & the elves, enjoy holiday-themed educational presentations, partake in fun holiday-themed photo-ops, and get some holiday shopping done at the Be Wild Gift Shop!
