Gift Shop & Welcome Center

The Gift Shop & Welcome Center at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is regarded by many as one of the best in the state. It’s not just because of the quality of items available for purchase, and the mix of Alaskan Artisans work and those must have gifts for friends and family back home, but the fact that all proceeds from the Gift Shop at AWCC go back to animal care resonates with many.

You’ll find pottery from local potters, Qiviut (the fur from musk oxen – considered to be some of the warmest in the world) from Alaska – in yarn, mittens, and scarves. There are the necessary ball caps, tee shirts, and others available here, as well as a great selection of kids wear and toys. All, of course are wildlife focused, and again, all proceeds go back to the animals at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center.
