An important part of AWCC’s mission is education, and we work to provide education in various forms throughout the year.
On campus, the Center staff provides education to the thousands of visitors that enter through our gates by way of our interpreters throughout the Center, animal demonstrations, and interactive displays. We believe it is our duty to provide entertaining forms of education to our visitors, and we sure have a great time doing it!
From on campus programs with our visitors, school programs both in and out of the school, to specialized programs in conjunction with Alaska Department of Fish & Game, Bear Trust International, and the Anchorage School District, the Alaska Wildlife Center is highly committed to education.
